She has always dreamt of becoming a published author since the age of
twelve when she wrote her first unpublished book, No Where to Run.--a
gripping story of rape and sexual abuse she endured from the age of five.
Fortunately, her desire to write is a dream realized with the publication of
her first book, F.H.M. Murray: First Biography of a Forgotten Pioneer for
Civil Justice (BookSurge, LLC release in July 2006).
Hackley-Lambert is the first author to bring this story and legacy to
the fore front to embellish American history. Her extensive research
is a masterful contribution to the African American race. She lectures
on the subject of F.H.M. Murray who happens to be her great grandfather and
brings attention to his numerous contributions and accomplishments.
Her book has already received the praise of other esteemed authors, like
Charles Patterson, author of Eternal Treblinka: Our Treatment of Animals
and the Holocaust, and New York Times
bestselling author, Ellen Tanner
Marsh.
According to Hackley-Lambert, "this is project was an intense labor of
love. I credit Almighty God, my mother, and my Grandpa Murray for making this
book possible. It has opened the door to my dream to write. This is merely a
beginning. I have other works-in-progress. My goal is have several
completed by June 2007."
