Local Women Writers Group
Emerges The Maryland Chapter of the National Association of Women Writers
Fort
Washington, Author/Biographer – Anita Hackley-Lambert has been called to
fill the position as the Regional Representative of the Maryland Chapter of
the National Association of Women Writers (NAWW). The Maryland Chapter is
one of the more than 13 chapters, nationwide and the only one in Maryland.
The National Association of Women Writers, founded by Sheri McConnell in
2001, was established to build a growing support network and help provide
assistance to women writers of all genres. “The NAWW is an organization for
all women writers to come together and share knowledge and experience as
well as motivate, inspire, encourage and give endless support to one
another,” McConnell says.
All women who write or desire to improve their writing skills (professional
or aspiring) regardless of portfolio are welcome to join us at our upcoming
event. Please come out, sign up for a free book drawing and bring a friend
or two.

“As a published author, I know the long road women must travel to reach
success as a writer. It is necessary to have a support network like NAWW
where women writers can bring their talents, resources, experiences, and
brain storming ideas to help make the journey down that road inspirational
and more fulfilling,” Hackley-Lambert says.
